I have not been involved with FF for a long time, but those figures look very good. The combustion volumes were tightly regulated, so you would be limited to the compression possible with those specs.
Make very sure that you do everything by the rule book.
Are you running the specified camshaft? This will also affect the compression you are seeing.

High compression does help the power generally, but an engine is a balance of compromises to get the best possible results over the full rev range, with a given fuel. If your power drops off at high rpms due to over compressing your cam is probably working there and you are losing out where you should be making the real power.
Remember you are measuring compression at cranking speed and not where the engine is actually working.

Tip: Go and sort out the rest of the car and gain experience before you even think about more power! Engine tuning is a large black hole that you can pour all your money down with a very low return.
