Don't have rallycross in Australia (although we did have it, at Calder funnily enough back in the 70s).
This is an attempt by the rally people to expose more people to their version of motorsport as rallying has been struggling here in recent times. I'm hearing you on the traditions of the sport but I think good on them for trying something different at one of their rounds to raise awareness of what they do.
