No enduros please. It's touring cars, not formula racing. Sprint races always worked well. Make it maximum 70km (half an hour long race). I don't really understand - is there such a big need in this change? Do fans really want this? I can only presume as a marketer that they have lower ratings for Race 2's (just look any race at Youtube - Race 1 usually has more views) but come on, without the reversed grid (which, if you want to make Race 2 longer and more important has to be abolished) they will be boring as hell. "We are on lap 23 and Citroens are 25 seconds ahead for the podium finish...."
If you want to make the rules more serious - give more points for qualifying, give more points for Race 1, permit more cars into Q2.
Changes are ought to make racing more exciting, not duller
