As an avid support of Australian GT and a moderator who supports positive & informative discussion - I am sure you would be aware that the Australian GT Championship has existed and run annually whilst the Sepang & Bathurst 12 Hours have also been in existence.
So with that context - what is your question again?

would it not make sense that with the new championship some drivers/teams/cars might choose to take part in the bigger championship, rather than in Aust GT
