It didn't help that recent efforts had been ****. I've imported the 2002-2015 season reviews and Bathurst 1000s on DVD to the UK over the years and from about 2012/13ish they really went downhill. Music played over all the content, most of the races highlighted down to 2-3 minutes at most. Rubbish. It's probably not just the downturn interest in V8s and availability online that's caused this.
