Prescot on a nice weekend is a great place to be for a hill climb!

Woke this morning determined to get at least 2nd in class.
PB in the summer of last year was 46.34 with a 2.16 start, so that was the target, not a weedy 48!

Practice went well, 47.17/2.35 and the car went well.
Race runs were 47.63 () / 2.21 and then 46.43 and 2.24.

And a Class Win!

The Mini broke and the NG TD ran a good 49.66 Nigel's weekend best.

Under the famous Bridge, not long after the start the Lola scooted under at 75 mph and fell just sublime, smooth, tight and very neutral, chassis fully balanced and flat, McClurg set-up still serving me well!

Chuffed to bits, we are back in the saddle proper and now Shelsley Walsh in 2 weeks time.

That place scares me and I rather think I might not have it all my own way, but we will see.
For now there is a nice warm glow.
