I recall reading in either 'Wheels' or 'Modern Motor' magazine at the time that the TAFE repaired shell was gifted to the TAFE crew after the '87 Bathurst race. The shell was then destined for the Bathurst museum. I've visited the museum a couple of times but never seen the car there.
