hillickx should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2014 USCC 6 Hours at the Glen

I hope to visit this event, especially due to the "historic" nature of this track.

I went to the ALMS Virginia International Race (VIR) race in 2013. $90 for the weekend ($75 if purchased over the internet a week or so in advanced), and $50 camping (at least 1 night w/free parking; RVs were $100). That race lasted 2 hours 45 minutes, and thankfully I was able to make the 6 hours drive back home safely.

Less than a week prior to the VIR, one had to buy these assortments once they got to the actual race track venure, instead of the internet. I hope to purchase Glen tickets 3 weeks in advanced, as these organizers refuse refunds under most (if not, any) circumstances.

For this Watkins Glen event, weekend admission will be $75 weekend (advanced payment, and the cheapest camping option (after adding the event ticket to your "cart), is $115 at the "Gate", then $125 non-track side, and finally $175 trackside.

I hope to leave home at 6:30am.

I'm leaning towards $125 trackside camping. For those who've been there, is the extra $10 worth it? Or is it for those who don't want to walk great distances to and from their camping supplies?

The trip should take 5 hours to drive there.

If thing go well by next year, I hope to attend Montreal, for my 1st ever F1 race as a live spectator; if not hopefully Mid-Ohio will host some sort of professional events that makes it worth staying overnight or so.
