Cadwell Park memories/photographs by Mike Dixon

Some old Cadwell photos by my friend and neighbour Mike Dixon. I’ve persuaded him to let us see some of his great archive here, note they are Mike’s copyright. Mike was a reporter and photographer for both Autosport and Motoring News in the 60s/70s, mostly at Cadwell or Snetterton. He is still behind the lens on occasion but you are more likely to find him in officialdom these days, he works as an MSA steward. Any queries on these, Mike can be contacted by e-mail at mikedixon7@lineone.net

September 1969 and Formula 3 was the main event. Tim Schenken leads Cyd Williams, Ronnie Peterson and Mike Beuttler into Mansfield corner.

The same four lead the field onto the Park Straight.

Here again at Mansfield.

Schenken passes the pits, note the Peterson grafitti!
