Only the bolt-on bits brakes, engine, gearbox etc. would be transferred over surely. So the chassis and suspension and all the other needed electrics and systems would surely be perfectly sound.
Why would they build a new car if didn't have developments in the (riveting.....
) areas of oil, fuel pumps etc (and suspension and cage of course) that people pay $600,000 for the special latest WP design.
