Without checking, I'd say it was rebuilt with parts sent to Australia, purely because of the time and expense it would take to ship it to Italy and back.

Good question. I can't remember what evidence I found but all my records show him as 'Lawrie Nelson'. I think it was an ad in Auto Action selling his old Group C Capri.
