Froome looked knackered yesterday, he surely would have chased Quintana down if he could have. Maybe Sky have (gasp!) got it wrong in trying to maintain Froome's form through the Tour-Vuelta gap using the Olympics as a glorified two-day classic.

I don't think you could get a bigger contrast than VIR and Paul Ricard to be fair. For all the moaning I see in the "American" threads, you should all be thankful you have largely untamed pastures at the sides of your circuits.
