I must confess to never having used Satnav, although I have 'sat' next to drivers who do and even as a passenger, a disconnected voice telling me where to turn is unnerving. Like Iain, I have maps in the car, but also sometimes use AA routeplanner. |
I see what was thought to be the oldest person in the world has died at the age of 117, the last person to have been born in the 19th century. Bit of a shock when I realised that my father would have been 117 next month!
The way the world is going I certainly don't want to be around that long.
On the subject of sat navs, mine seems to have lost its voice, so maybe it's time for a new one, not that I use it that much.
