I shared these here some fifteen years ago, and as I've recently stumbled upon them, I'd like to share them again. The quality is very poor, for which I apologize, but it was the best I could do at the time with the software that I had.
The first is a collection of sights and sounds from the 1999 Detroit Grand Prix. Gonzalo Rodriguez can be seen signing an autograph just weeks before his tragic death at Laguna Seca.
The second was filmed at the 2000 Michigan 500, with 55 unofficial lead changes it was one of the most exciting openwheel races ever. (IMO)
Finally, the final ten laps of the 2001 Michigan 500. What a finish!
