Carbon chassis have been allowed in ACO (LMES/LM/ALMS) for a couple of years now. The Zonda was the first to race.
The ACO class them as 'supercars' and they are subject to slightly different, more restrictive, regs (similar to GT/N-GT) than a regular GTS car like a 575GTC.
The Maserati is indeed a Carbon chassied car.
