The car that Baigent crashed (Denny Hulme turned him into a spin which sent the car barrel rolling up and over a wall at Manfield) was completely destroyed. I think the steering wheel was salvaged, and not much else! The engine and gearbox were ripped out and smashed, all the suspension broken etc. etc. That was a Schnitzer car. Kent Baigent was pretty smashed up and broken too. I have the video footage here somewhere, a very nasty crash.
