When you consider future LMP and GTE options, the fallback option of GT3, and lacklustre state of GA, if the ALMS cannot make a go of things, I worry if there's any hope for professional sportscar racing in NA.

Previous sportscar failures where down to lack of new machinery, quite the opposite of todays scenario, should the ALMS fail, even with WEC competition, it will be down to poor management and lack of interest.
