Thank you GTB, fantastic part of Simca's story you have here. I've always been amazed by Henri Pigozzi's personal story he was a pioneer of car marketing. From a strict commercial point of view I wonder if exporting that far was worth.
A model looking alike your Vedette but fitted with the Aronde 4 cylinder was named Ariane or Ariane 4. Very convenient for large families or parisian taxis.
