WARNING scam FF Gearbox for sale One of our HFF boys has contacted me

This gearbox is begging to look like a scam to me . The guy insisting on direct bank transfer and has a phone that diverts to a USA number that is engaged. I am concerned that some of the historic guys might catch a cold and wondered if you could warn them.

The advert is on Race-cars.com site and under parts for sale . He advertises mk9 and mk8 for sale . Name Michael D a price of £1700 shipped.
The address he has given is actually near Exeter in Devon but I cannot find any links to him at the address he uses the name Michael Durham.

By email he announces his address as 24 North Street, Ashburton, Devon.
TQ13 7QD. THIS IS NOT HIS ADDRESS

The seller seems reluctant to answer his phone but is free with his emails and says it's available...a telephone number has been traced to this address and they know nothing about it. Be warned! Dick Dixon.
