Vettel's mess up was to place himself at risk to Max, I have the feeling that if Max was a serious championship contender this year and the Ferraris closed him out like this there would not have been an accident.
Max's logic; and Horner's pre-race interview; was that Seb was racing for a championship and would not force the issue with him, wrong, Vettel had a brain explosion and tried to force the issue with the young and desperate.
Vetttel should have taken a leaf out of Hamilton's book and heeded:
"That kid's dangerous, it wasn't worth it."
Should Max have been done for causing an avoidable incident is probably the accurate question?
No, according to the stewards.
Probably the correct decision.
