It could have been worce, spending cubic money on a restoration then finding that the "market" says "so what? don't care how much has been spent on it!?" the car is worth 4.32!

What anyone spends on restoration is often neither here nor there when it comes to selling (too many cost variables)...however, condition does help with selling price...except in a limited "market" where your multi-thousand pound/dollar etc resto finished in your favourite candy apple red paint raises the noses of the purists and others in the market!
