It must have been a fantastic time to be involved with Lotus, I recently read his biography, which I was a little nervous of doing, but needless to say needn't have worried (if anything he went up in my estimations) and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Crombac book is fine , but far from objective and tends to the superficial . The definitive Chapman book is Karl Ludvigsen's 'Colin Chapman - Inside the Innovator ', which I cannot recommend too highly.
