There is one thing you need to consider here and it's one I will be looking at when my trusty G25 finally dies.
Custom or shelf!
Fanatec are probably the best off the shelf, but a full system from them with a shifter is upwards of a grand, but it is top drawer.
And with Logitech now, the G series you have to buy the gear lever separately, but with 25 and 27 it came with, a massive con!!!
Don't know as much about Thrustmaster, my uncle has one and the flappy paddles stayed on the boss, not moved with the wheel which really annoyed me! But its a lovely wheel.
if you use it a lot go Fanatec, its worth it.
If you use it a fair bit Thrustmaster or Logitech, but maybe even look second hand.
