Out of curiosity, I wonder if it's by design or coincidence, but it seems that the current DPI cars at most tracks are as fast as 2000-2005 LMP900/LMP1 cars.
Only reason I'm thinking that is that I'm looking at lap times at various tracks and the fact that the original DPs were intended to be roughly as fast as a 1985 Porsche 962.
