We had 8 Special Stages that took us from Auckland to the finish in New
Plymouth . Start time in Auckland was 7.15am & we crossed the finish line
in New Plymouth at 7.00pm, so a very long tiring day. The stages ranged in
length from 10km to the longest of the event at 53km - a marathon, where
the road changed at just about every corner!
Tough drive in a road car!! I can only sympathise
