steve bang should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Turbo GSXR 1100

Has any one put a car turbo onto a suzi engine and had any success? We run these engines in race cars and are want to turbo them in standard trim, see our cars on www.raceexperience.co.nz

heh ... how tall was the tallst person that fit into one?

why not use the gsxr1000 or busa engine?

Es Nes: 6'9" and I didn't want to go to water cooled.
busa not so readily available yet.

There have been several bikes that were turbocharged, among other things, in the old Formula USA (now Formula Extreme) roadracing series. There were no engine restrictions for this class, thus just about everything showed up. Can't remember any details except Team Suzuki ran +200hp Methanol Monster. It was rather short lived. Seems they had problems keeping the front wheel on the ground.

It also has a whole lot of links to other turbo bike sites,I would also recommend contacting Turbo Technology in Christchurch 03 365 3498 as they have already done a turbo on a Hayabusa engine in Quadzilla (400+hp)
