nsxr should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
touring car race of champoins

with the etcc, stcc, and btcc running the rules that the closest its been in a real long time. The idea of a race of champions would be great. factory veruses the priveteers would be great . imagine something like 30-40 cars around brands hatch or donington it would be great plus dont the dtc [Danish series} run cars close to these rules . oh if the world be perfect for one day

Hmmmm, in other words, a World Cup? Hmmm, do you fans think a World Cup has a better chance succeeding under the new rules than the old ST rules?

It could happen for sure, but the TV and media coverage would have to be there. I suppose with live BTCC coverage it could certainly work because not only the BTCC advertisers would want spots but the ETCC would too.

I think Speed World Challenge (especially the Touring category) should be included in that as well!

I wonder where do WC cars stand in terms of specification? Are they GrpN or closer to SP? S2000 is higher than SP, which is higher than GrpN? I heard WC cars are close to GrpN. But they recently allowed for aero kits which means they should be closer to SP?

SP cars don't have aerodynamic aids (unless they are on the road car) remember.

Okay, I think I got things confused. The ETCC is now running S2000 spec (previously they ran SP spec?) while the BTCC is running it's own BTC spec? Since the WC now allows some level of custom aero aids, that means they should be closer to S2000 spec?

I don't think the BMWs, IS300, and Nissan (among others) would be allowed because of their displacement. I think SWC needs a couple more years to evolve into the Euro guidelines, however they are close. It would be very cool to see this happen though.
