Rallycross Open - Mallory Park replacement round
Does anyone have any details on this yet? In the pre-Croft drivers letter they mentioned potential of 2 alternatives, and that this would be discussed/announced at Croft but I didn't see or hear anything.
Was looking forward to Mallory as 1) new venue 2) tad closer to us boys "down sarf", does anyone have any idea of the alternatives? |

i heard "rumour" that peter had been in touch with castle combe and knockhill as replacement venue ,but heard nothing more since, but then we know what rumours are like.

Was hoping Lydden might be a contender, given it's recent updates/facelift and the history, plus for us "down sarf" it does gives us more of a local event.

But its now owned by the Dorans who aren't regular competitors in the Open Championship so I guess it gets political!

Any news if Teesside Autodrome will be used as a rallycross circuit as there was supposed to be something about it running an event there sometime

It seems, according to the Open Championship website, that the replacement date for Mallory is at Blyton on August 16th.
