peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Who is it GTR?

The picture in the article suggested it might be Percat

Geez, would Percat have a six-figure sum to lose in the first place? If it's not Nick its a poorly chosen photo...

One would think if it was this year's co-driver then it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for him.

Does Bathurst Winner mean not a champion, which would narrow the field.

Some of the papers say it way 100k to join, which might reduce the list a bit more

For my mind there is only one person on that list with access to 6 figures stupid enough to gamble it. It makes sense that it would be the current winning co-driver.

Why dump the four you mentioned, I'm guessing it is one of them.

based on TWRv12's theory that you would say v8 champion as opposed to bathurst winner if it was one of them

One of that list has family connections to horse racing.. or at least using a horse racing facility...

It could be any of them, and the Herald Sun seems not to have been forthcoming. Yet.

And why is it really any of our business ? Is this some type of name & shame game ? Whoever it is made a bad choice and will pay for it financially.

It doesn't have to be a B1000 winner, it could be a B12hr winner.

well seeing how the headline says "V8 star" and the article says recent bathurst winner an assumption was made that it would be a bathurst 1000 winner.

However by your theory it would mean Craig Lowndes or Paul Morris, both still on that list.

Im thinking that is probably a bad assumption though

Rather than pointing fingers at random, perhaps we should wait til more light is shed on the matter, and some names are mentioned, before we continue?

Wasnt there a rule in the Operations Manual at one point that prohibited team members from gambling on sport?
