French Supertourisme?
Seen an article about the French Championship today, and theres Pug 406 Coupes and BMW Coupes and Astra Coupes, all of similar appearnce to BTCC/DTM type cars(big wheek arches). Anyone got any pictures or any sites that they will be on?

The french championship uses a combination of old Super tourers and new Silloette cars. I think the new cars use a 3 litre six that can be mounted in the rear of the space frame chassis. The engine has to be from the same company as the body shape.

this silouette class sounds strangely familiar to the PROCAR formula that Bernie Eccelestone tried to introduce to replace Group A for the World Touring Car Championship in 1989, but no manufacturers were interested.

Shame the FTCC isnt new ETCC/BTCC rules-that would interest more manufacturers.
