Excellent news for Labre. Also excellent news for Prodrive and Ferrari, the 550 has now won 4 consecutive FIA GT championships.

No, no he isnt. The FIA GT website are showing BMS as the champions of 2002,2003,2004 and Labre in 2005. http://www.fiagt.com/pointssummary.p...=team&event=11 That makes 4. If you read my original post correctly you would have seen I was reffering to the teams and manufacturers championship, not the drivers championship.

Great News. Scheider didn´t impressed in the A1GP but in an interview in last weeks "Motorsport aktuell" he said that the FIA-GT is not a real series and that the DTM and F1 the series he want to be.
Normal for a driver in his age, but i´m a GT fan and so i´m happy that Larbre gets the title... |

Actually my mistake, I was getting confused. I confused the LMES with FIA GT. My bad. But then, Labre didnt win the LMES either, did they?

I'm also thrilled that Gardel is champion. He did a very steady job (though I wish Pedro could share it!) and he deserves it. Mostly, though, I'm happy for CARE and Prodrive, who are responsible for one of the most beautiful and capable GTs ever. |
