pink69 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
New DTM points system and other news

DTM have announced that they will using the same points scoring system as F1, with 10 points for 1st, 6 for second etc.. instead of points for the top ten as used in the last 2 seasons. Also, the rolling starts will be abandoned in favour of standing starts. Also, Stefan Mucke is set to join the Mercedes ranks for 2002 and Dumbreck looks set to lose out to Marcel fassler in the race to get the final 2002 spec CLK drive. With Alesi, schneider and Alzen confirmed one was always going to lose out and it is 60:40 in favour of Fassler.

Sure I read Dumbreck had been confirmed? Or do you mean he'd drive a 2001 spec car?

Interesting to note that the qualifying race is still 3-2-1 points, which essentially makes it more significant, giving the top drivers more to gamble with in a tight battle

Also interesting to note that the ETCC has now adopted the 10 - 6 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 points system as well.

I think DTM should use the BTCC points system.
