Vandas should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Another Aussie Steps Up!

I know this isn't exactly to topic however as there are many Australian's in here I thought I might bring it up anyway.

This morning Will Davison signed with Alan Docking Racing to compete in the 2003 British F3 Championship.

I just got off the phone to Will, who is soaking up the sun in QLD with Marcus Marshall, and he is absolutely ecstatic.

What does this mean for Will Power? Where will we see James Manderson race next year? Will Ryan Briscoe blitz'em in Euro F3? Don't forget Rob Nguyen in F3000!

Now everyone else has a seat, when will I find the dollars for my seat in F3?

Oh well, we will have to wait and see.

GTR,

He is going to have a pretty hectic schedule next year.

Basically he will be heading back to England in February, when the testing ban is lifted. He will make a brief appearance back in Australia for the GP (where he is an ambassador).

Then I don't know if his management would want him racing in the enduros, but if an offer was there that didn't cost any money I could see him being very interested.

Any racer would be.

Vanilla Coke Suprises are my mate's and my favourite drink.

It is a glass of Vanilla Coke with 3 shots of Scotch in it.

Goes down very smooth.

Well I am not certain what we shall hear about the other Will, Will Power that it!

He has been knocked back by Docko at this stage, mainly because he doesn't have the knowledge of the tracks, and the experience of living in Europe yet. Nothing to do with his driving ability.

ADR pointed him to FRenault as a training ground for him, but Will Power is very keen on racing F3.

I will be interested to see which way he heads.

What is Will's brother (Alex Davison) doing next year?

Porsche Supercup probably, but in which country?

Hey guys, just to give you an update,

Will Power is actually looking quite good to sign with Alan Docking Racing.

He has strong financial support and is currently trying to seal the deal.

How awesome would that be having the two Will's battle it out again but in Europe?

A Marketing/PR Team's dream.

I presume he would have the same program of racing as this year, racing in both the Porsche Supercup (supporting F1) and in the Carrera Cup in Germany.

I think i read somewhere that he was interested in a one-off in the Australian series at Melbourne.

Absolutely awesome. Their battle in 2001 Aus FFord was one of the motor racing highlights of that year for me. They were always entertaining.

to answer racer69, i'm told alex will again be doing the same program this year as 2002, that being supercup with the f1 series and carrera cup which follows the dtm series.
