I am one of the moderators of the NASCAR/ASCAR forum and I just wanted to let the Ten-Tenths community know that I've recently self-published a book on my hometown hero, Masten Gregory, the first successful American-born driver in Formula One.

Masten was one of the great characters of motor racing and so far, I have received nothing but positive feedback from the book despite some typos that got by my copy-editors and some other imperfections.

At any rate, I wanted to let everyone know about this book (which explains my decline in activity on the NASCAR/ASCAR forum) and also that the book is more a labor of love than anything else. My potential net profit after taxes is nothing to get excited about and somewhat depressing for all the work that I have, and will, continue to put into this project. However, profit was never my objective with the book in the first place. I just wanted to raise the awareness of my hometown hero to help him get inducted into local halls of fame.
