I don't normally comment on other peoples liveries, but that IMHO is quite weak for v8's I always find the v8's to push the boundaries. I've tried some proposals before in a Supercar v8 style, to be knocked back as there too OTT for example.

This seems very conservative. As the sponsors have orange branding, I'm surprised the car isn't orange and red. I do like the broken up colour break between the two colours though.

How come the Flintstones are on there?

They should of used the FirstRock orange instead of that red.

DJR have announced a new partnership with Warner Bros. Group and therefore the cars will carry Cartoon characters on their cars next year.

One car will have Fred Flinstone for instance and the other will have Daffy Duck. (Please, no Porky Pig jokes)

Anywho. Doesn't look THAT bad. I quite like it...

Noooooooo!!!
They have gone from that gorgeous blue Westpoint livery to this dogs breakfast!?!?

The WB deal explains the cartoon characters which confused me at first.

Not of the standard id expect from a team like DJR.
They usually always come out with a good livery. They are way off the mark with this one though.

I think that looks great! I didn't know there was a link between Warner Bros and Hanna Barbera?

I don't mind it. It's a bit different, and I think they will look quite good out on the track.

DJR back to red cars. The superstitious among us might think that an omen seeing as the last time DJR was really successful was when thge cars were red.

I just love Dick Dastardly (DJ) and Mutley (Junior) on the roof.

How long before DJR are known as the Wacky Racers?

There's a bit too much black on the side for my liking, but the roof looks great.

Wacky Racers indeed!

Looks great. The cartoon characters are a nice change to the mundane, red, blacks and whites most other teams trudge out year after year.

With DJR, Perkins' Jack Daniel's livery (when released), TOLL and Tasman, orange has become the new rage.

Dare I say, almost NASCAR style liveries starting to emerge?

sure hope thats not done by the same guy who did the westpoint livery...cause he has let himself down if that is the case...

...that said, its not the worst livery I have ever seen, just looks like it would be more at home in the developement series.

there are going to be a lot of black liveries on the grid in 2006...

[QUOTE=manwell]Noooooooo!!!
They have gone from that gorgeous blue Westpoint livery to this dogs breakfast!?!? The car is a bloody shocker..... Djr had some decent merchandise for the first time in years and they go to this crap colour. Least the black front on the shirt makes "Junior look slimmer". Thats the only good thing about it.

I think its great!
Lots of the cars look very similar these days. (HSV, HRT,Supercheap).
and ther seems to be this bonnet/headlight stripe horns look they all seem to have. This is original bright catchy and exciting. makes nice change from fords in blue and holdens in red/black

According to the DJR release on Racetime one was to be the Flinstones & the other the Wacky Races.Lets hope the cars don't turn out to be Mutleys.
