Gloves!

Hi All

I'm looking to get some new kit for christmas, and why not if someone else is paying, and want to get some new gloves. I don't need gauntlets, but want some mechanic style gloves, seen quite a lot of marshals wearing them.

Can anyone tell me what sort of thing i should be looking for and where a good place to get them from is? And how much I should be looking to spend?
