27tim should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Opel DTM in EERC

I recall reading a article about this car a while back, perhaps on DSC but I can't seem to find it at the moment :-/

Does anyoneknow more, like who is running the car, and do I remember correctly that they bought 2 Opels and were looking to run both?

How come they set out not to finish the race?

Any website for the team with more info?

Cheers

Tim

Yes there is an ex-DTM Opel out in Britcar this year. The car is driven by Steve Hirst and Ric Wood. The car didn't complete the race due to fuelling difficulties. From what it is a very impressive car and it very quick but it did seem to spend most of it time spining on Saturday. If anyone wants to see there car they can find it at:- http://www.rdj-pics.co.uk/Photos/200...s/Britca29.JPG

According this Autosport article they will do the full Dutch Supercar Challenge championship, but they were not allowed to take part at Zandvoort 2 weeks ago because the car made to much noise.

That team has two DTM Opels from 2001. After 2001 (or 2002?) they served as DTM-cabs.
