I doubt if the term 'superlicence' existed in 1949? However this does look like Ascari's race licence,so if genuine is a valuble historical document,which belongs in an italian museum,not an e-bay auction?

I agree, Rob; it should be in an appropriate place for public viewing. Let's hope that if it is sold, the new owner, at least 'loans' it to a suitable museum.

Says "no longer available for sale". That could mean its authentication is in doubt - or someone's bought it privately.

It doesn't look that authentic to me... How did the seller manage to get such a good quality photo on a rare piece like that? And the photo and staples don't look that convincing.
