With all due respect GTR, how is Walden any different to Thexton, with exception the lad may have some talent?

Mr Thexton's team had a full strength paid professional team, a current model car with an enormous complement of spare parts, a new dedicated workshop for the operation. The majority of technical and financial elements were in place in the Thexton operation. The only question was over the speed of the driver. Last edited by GTRMagic; 30 Dec 2006 at 22:21. |

This red Elliot/Sydney Star AU was IIRC, the famous #18 bullet from 1999, and also the 4th place getter in the 2000 and 2001 Bathurst 1000s.............. Was the white Walden car ex-FPR, ex-GSR? |

The white car is GSR's (in)famous "Silver Streak"... run by Mr Besnard in 2003.. after being codriven by him at Bathurst in 2002...

I have found 3 Liveries for the car (the AU)
http://images.google.com/images?q=tb...s/CRW_4718.jpg then this Blue version (which isnt a very good pic) http://www.motorsport.com/photos/sel...=Garth_Walden# and then of course the red one that Ran at bathurst http://www.nmd.com.au/images/drivers...rst1000013.jpg and amazingly none of them are the livery I remember , then again I could have the wrong car altogether in mind |

they are old, had more hits than elvis (as Jason Richards would say), slow, loose and hard to fine tune because of the age and hits they have had, one of the Perkins cars that he has for sale would of been better IMO, but i supose you have to go where your budget is i supose.
