Texan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hawke Super Vee

Is there in fact a difference between a Hawke DL5 and a DL5B? Thanks.

I suppose David Lazenby would know - old Hawke boss. Google him under Pace Products.

You might be lucky and get a response, but when my friend contacted him when he was researching Hawke to set up a dedicated website for the marque he wasn't interested. He departed from Hawke when it was owned by Rupert Keegan's dad after a disagreement. I will contact my friend who has quite a lot of info about the various models to see if he can shed any light on the diferences.

I've made some enquires and the only difference that he is aware of is that the 5b had a full width nose with associated framework. He has seen photos of both chassis and did not see any obvious differences.
Hope this is of help

Thanks Matthew. That surely may be the case as my car is represented as a "b" and it has the full width nose and associated framework.
