Gerben24 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Sachsenring looked really pants when they started there, it still looks crap thinking about it, but we've had some cracking races there.

I agree Indy doesn't look very spectacular, although that corner inside banked turn 1 does not look slow, but give it a change until they've had a race there.

I'm not familiar with the Indy track at all. Are they still having any banked sections for MotoGP? If so, how does that work for motorcycles?

They won't be using any banked sections. The track has been revised to exclude them.

It may sound unreal but I heard a (no motorsport) commentator in a radio station saying that when they go in the opposite "direction" (in any road), the banking is dangerous because it would be a reverse banking

Hayden took a lap around the new road course on an Indian that competed in the first ever race at Indy in 1909. He also made a few laps on a Honda CBR1000RR with a Red Bull livery.

Not exactly. The entrance to T-1 is part of the original banking as is the entrance to T-5. In addition, the `short chute' between T-4 & T-5 is NOT level. It has an approximate 8° bank.

Should you be planning to attend, start HERE . When the MP webmaster fixes a few things I will attempt to create a similar page for the Moto GP.

PM with questions about the US and marshalling at Indy.

Click HERE to read of my adventures as a marshal at the '02 F-1 race.
