"The World" challenge
A post of someone else has inspired me to start this thread. the idea is to design a multi purpose motor racing facility capable of hosting virtualy all kinds of motor racing at the "The World" artificial island archipel. I'll allow changing the islands to produce more space but at all time the outline of the archipel should be kept and a world map must be recognisable.
This challenge will run for a month unless the thread hasn't come to a standstill yet. I got my inspiration here: http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...=1#post2544453. |

Intresting, and also difficult. may be worth a shot, though don't count on an attempt surfacing from myself.

Now that I have looked at the islands again, I see that there would be loads of room for a decent complex of street type circuits a bit like the Ile De Notre Dame in Montreal. I'll post initial routes using Earth, then reproduce them in SketchUp.
For reference to those without Google Earth, the distance btween Alaska and The Siberian peninsula is about 7km. |

I noticed the first Island is owned by Micheal Schumacher. He lives in north western Greenland (of "The Dubai World"). I think he'd love a track around his home.
