All right, so many of you took the time to submit your entries, it wouldn't be fair if the guy who thought this challenge up would not take an active part, right?, So, here's my little design:

As you can see, even I didn't really bother to follow my own guidelines to a simple track... This one's almost exactly 3 kilometers (1.88 miles) long - save a couple of meters. It has 12 corners and a 970 meter long S/F straight. It goes anti.

Exiting that pitlane would be hard to do in a way you don't end up at an angle of about eighty degrees to the driving direction.

I decided to add one aswell - my first for a while admittedly

All of my designs were fairly simple anyway but ive decided this one still fits the catergory of simple with 9 corners and i would say it would be about 3 km in length give or take

I give you the VBB and thats a simple name as they were the first three letters i typed when it came to saving it.

The little arrow points the direction but just incase anyone asks its anticlockwise and the reason i went for that is the great overtaking opputunity into turn one.

That's of course is only down to my laziness in drawing. I wanted to submit one but i didn't have too much time to pay attention to every little detail, you see.

If you look at my other designs in my thread you'll see that I never make such steep pitlane entries/exits.

simple motorsport park

having recently uncovered some old drawings, and seeing bios simple challenge thread,i'd thought i'd post my simple challenge track. its a simple track, with a few midget dirt ovals and a small paved oval in the surrounding vicinity.

it was originally drawn on a3 paper, so to get it on the comp i had to scan it in 2 parts, hence why it looks like it came out of a book

My go - called it Newville. Light grey is the safer layout

Very much like an anti-clockwise version of Snetterton - intentional?

Other than that nice and simple, and the pit Exit may need a little bit of reprofiling due to the nature of the corner.

Ha, I did notice that once I'd finished. Not intentional, no. I was just trying to create something that flows

Nice thread, sorry for being late, my computer broke up and I couldn't even look for a while I will submit something asap, but I'd like to say that this kind of "simple" tracks are usually the most fun to race, the design I had in mind somebody already submitted something around the "s" form, which is the best for me.

The LuiggiSpeed Airbase in PR

(Seriously, this, of course, has nothing to do with any airbases, but it definitely looks like being one, no doubt )

Good te have you back, Luiggi. And let that design of yours come.

Another entry of mine. Some resemblance with Shamble's effort (post #15) can't be denied, but this is not an effort to improve or modify his concept (which is the best design so far IMHO).

The track is based on the British airfield style, because I think it really suits this challenge (simple, short, club).
It's clockwise, about 2.5 km (1.6 mi), the SF straight is 750m.

A very solid effort, I can see the similiarities to my design in terms of what Yannick might call the blot shape, but in terms of how it would run, yours would be completely different to mine. I really like it, especially the combination of T2/T3.

this would be my shot from the hip ....a 10 turn affair, with the peculiarity of being 16 mts. wide and having endless passing opportunities
