The hope is that the Spa 24 doesn't scare away some of the pre-Spa regulars from continuing as so often does happen after the 'highlight' of the season. But I think that's where the Blancpain is a little different from the rest.
The 2 McLarens will be very interesting to watch. A little more luck, a shorter race, and we could see them at the level we saw them at the British GT round at Spa. 2 weeks to go! Can't find a provisional entry list anywhere. |

Ah, totally forgot about that one. Circuit looks quite interesting. Even has a 'flat oval' variant.
I take it this is the first major race at the Slovakiaring? It had to be an Austrian building it for it to have a name with "ring" at the end. Brno now has a contender in the area. |

They've mainly had national or regional series like the FIA Central European Zone Trophy (which was there last year with BOSS GP). Event had 14,000 spectators in 2010.
This will be the first major international event it seems...so could be even more. Not sure if tickets are more expensive though. |

That car is one of the (2?) ex Carsport Zondas that raced at Sebring and Le Mans with Hezemans and Kumpen in 2003. Its been modified over the years and was racing AFAIK last year in Czech GT but havent heard anything since.

And Quifel-ASM have also purchased McLarens... as well as Boutsen Energy.
As for Doerr Motorsport, are they the VLN team? Does that mean McLarens in the Nurburgring 24h next year? |

@ Nick6. Pretty much sums it up. Porsche Curves, the program was plagued with problems, namely funding and the fact that AMG wanted nothing to do with tuning the Mercedes V12 found in the Zonda leading to a lack of power and reliability.

Definitely one to watch even more with the addition of the GTR and the McLaren.

Great to hear. If the drivers stay the same as Japanese Samuari has posted then the car should be fast but then again it is a new car so we shouldnt expect too much.

Mind you that rich07 says it is their first test in competition, so it will all be about testing and not about winning the race.
The team will have a quick line-up as I can't see any slow driver currently racing a Nissan GT car. ;-) |
