rFactor 2 Open Beta and pricing information has been released.

£27(ish) initial cost which includes one years (18 months if purchased during open beta) online service subscription. Additional cost for additional years but a truck load cheaper than iRacing.

Also, you get an account which should mean less crappy pick up racing where people drive the wrong way round the track.

Ah I must have missed something somewhere - I didn't realise they were going down the iRacing way of doing things for multiplayer. The pricing sounds alright, and if it helps stop crummy public server antics, then okay...
