Fanatec CSR-Elite News
Good news everyone.
I've been staying quiet about it until now. Some of you may remember my epic 12 episode series on youtube reviewing the Fanatec PWTS. On the back of that I've been on the books as a Fanatec Community tester so I have known for a long time that I'd be testing the CSR-Elite. I had the confirmation from UPS since last week so I am expecting my CSR-Elite to arrive at my door tomorrow:  My plan ... much like I did with the PWTS is to make a series of review videos covering as many games as I can a videoing as much as I can in as many episodes as it takes to get the job done and be as thorough as possible. As there are the other 12 testers who won their positions on votes on other forums there is an embargo on releasing info too soon, so I'll not be able to publish any videos until the embargo is lifted but rest assured as soon as I can I'll be publishing as many videos with as much information as I can.. |

There is an embargo on video footage, but it will be lifetd very soon. On the very hour of the embargo lift I will be sure to get some videos out there.
Doubt I'll be testing the Clubsport wheel as I don't have a PC powerful enough to run games, so I'll leave that to someone else to do. |

I do like the Elite, it's just a shame it doesn't have a table clamp. I've been a little stingy and gone for the CSR with Elite pedals. Looking forward to getting my mitts on it in the very near future.

It weighs 9KG's (More than twice the weight of a CSR/911) so any table clamp will be stretched to cope. Hardmounting is the way to go with any wheel especially Fanatec..

Brilliant comparison vid. Can't wait to see more of that.
The elite certainly is a massive step up, its a shame CSR owners don't get ACL though. Hope that update for us comes soon. |
