Lee Purnell should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Good or bad?
In touring cars, they are being used this year, but what about in other championships?
I belive they use them in the hot hatch championships.
What about other championships?
The Fiat challange for example, James Levy has won 4 out of 4 races, Enzo Buscaglia stormed his way to victory in the Le Mans Autoitalia championship today, only to be heard saying,
"that was to easy....I overtook to many cars at the start, i'll pick them off one by one next time"
Is it time this sort of dominance is stoped? posibally using weight penalties?

From a spectator's point of view, I like the cars to be running close. But, realistically, why should those who are successful be penalised?

If a tennis player wins all their matches, you don't cut off one of their arms. You don't break a successful snooker player's cue.

You can have two reasons to impose weight limits - the first is to keep costs down by ensuring the whole grid doesn't have to spend thousands to be competitive against a team with more money. The second is to purposefully close up the grid a la Nascar.

The second reason is wrong in my opinion. It does not promote technical achievement and is merely pandering to a jaded audience.
