SCs have to return to the start point (car 1 has to stop where car 1 started from), so probably just cycling around to the correct positions. 8 min lap times make it a long process.

LOL ... what makes you think the result can change in the final few minutes ....

it's not like we have seen In This Race, cars which were minding their own Risi business taken out Manor by apparently random Toyota #9 accidents.

If a P2 car does finish third overall, I really hope the ACO don't do something dumb like putting the #8 crew on the podium instead because they finished third in LMP1.

Fact is that as of right now, Porsche have it in the bag if they don't make stupid mistakes or break anything. The #1 has been the only car without a major issue so far. And they have such a big lead right now they can stroke it. They can probably park their cars for 15 minutes each hour and still win this thing because the LMP2s don't have the lap time.

And the tyres stay up. And reliability is perfect. And no GT cars hit them. And no LMPs hit them. Etc.
