what a great win for DR and his team after being "on it all weekend.
This guy has the talent and also something else that a lot of other driver lack and that is PERSONA. Couldnt of happened to a nicer guy and team |

The previous iterations of Kelly Racing had two championship wins, and two Bathurst wins.

And now Erebus and Stone Brothers Racing have won the same amount of Bathurst 1000s.

Article here on Betty from Fairfax Good Weekend magazine.
Firstly, it's good to see some Motorsport coverage in Fairfax that shows up on the front "page" of the digital publications. Secondly, it occurs to me that Betty really was mucked around something chronic by the initial management team that she had but now, with a more realistic and focussed management, Betty is a Bathurst 1000-winning team owner and no-one will ever be able to take that away from her. |

Betty bought a fully sponsored team with a track tested COTF Falcon prototype and fleet of competitive Windsor engines ready to go. A team with a fantastic roster of skilled engineers, fabricators and technicians. To deflect the blame to others seems like madness. It's for the best that the SBR workshop was not purchased outright, as now "they" are back in the Supercars and race preparation game anyway. |

If she'd installed the current management way back then, the intervening years could be quite different. I've always felt that the installed management at the time took on a bloody good team and "managed" it backwards with maximum acceleration. |

I just cringe when thinking back to the amount of money that was spent on the engine program and the glaring mistakes made with it along the way. At least it has all worked itself out now.

Is it engine costs that prevent the E63's from appearing in Super 2?

I thought maybe Erebus might be interested in running them for one or two cashed up young guys... Or would the running / engine maintenance costs outweigh any potential profits?

Apparently running costs were potentially slashed significantly, when they found a new supplier of crankshafts.
Which were conveniently delivered a few months after their switch to Holden. |

Hmm... Any suggestion if Team 18 will consider purchase a chassis and technical services from either Erebus or BJR? Since 888 don't seem willing to supply proper go-fast kit at a price that is attractive enough, would Erebus offer a more financially-appealing deal? |

I would say the pilot might be past his used-by date.
