KC should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridKC should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
First it was Orange telecommunications that was thought to be abandoning Arrows and now it seems that associate sponsor Eurobet may drop Arrows to concentrate on sponsoring Premier League Champion Manchester United. All of this comes on the heels of Arrows GP being voted most improved team at the FIA Awards Banquet.

Orange should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Say it ain't so!!

Let's hope this is some kind of sick Minardi rumour-esque joke. If it is true, shame on Eurobet and Orange (wait a sec... ) for abandoning a team that has had a great year, and are on the road to further improvement. As an American, in a country where neither of these corporations exist I will not have the pleasure of boycotting their products if they do withdraw from Arrows.

But it has to be remembered that Orange started sponsoring Arrows after they ran an underweight car in a Barrrrthelona test with Supertec engines. In addition to that the '99 car was the '98 car so it was no surprise they were tail-enders.

Arrows in 2001 will be back to the back of the grid - which is a pity.

I don't know about Eurobet, but Orange already said they are gonna respect the contract, the new owners (France Telecom) are expanding into europe, Dutchtone(also owned by FT) is going to be part of Orange next year, and FT want to expand even more.
When you look at the Arrows site you can see Pedro de la Rosa visited UPC (the company that runs chello), so it's unlikely that they will quit.
BTW: Minardi Fan, Arrows did'nt test with a underweight car troughout most of the testing, only the last day when Pedro set the lap record(an Arrows employee told this to a reporter from Autosport: "we wewre beeing acused of it anyway , so we thought we might as well do it")
